Privacy, in plain words.
Axiom Nexus keeps only what it needs to give you an account and keep your progress. Here is exactly what, where, and how to remove it.

What we store
- Your account
- Your email, your name if you give one, when you signed up and when you last logged in. Your password is never stored as such: we keep only a salted scrypt hash, which cannot be turned back into the password.
- Your study progress
- The app keeps your progress in your browser: lessons mastered, review schedules, your Year. When you are signed in to an account, a copy of that state is saved to it so your progress follows you across devices.
- Password resets
- When you ask for a reset, we email you a link that works once, for one hour. The link itself exists only in that email; we keep just its SHA-256 fingerprint.
- Contact messages
- The name, email and message you send. They are emailed to the operator of axiom.nexus, and a copy is kept so nothing is lost if mail delivery fails.
Your IP address is held briefly in server memory (an hour at most) to limit abuse of log-in, sign-up and the forms. It is never written to the database.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to know how many people visit which pages. It counts page views with the path, the referring site, the country, and the device, browser and OS type. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites; visits are told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours. We see totals, not people.
The AI Teacher
When you write to the Teacher, your questions, the conversation so far and the lesson number travel through an encrypted tunnel (Cloudflare) to the Teacher service the operator runs, which asks an AI model to answer: xAI's Grok by default, and Anthropic's Claude when Grok is unavailable. The service keeps no transcripts; the conversation is gone when you leave the page. The model providers process that text under their own terms, so don't type anything there you wouldn't want shared.

What we don't do
No ads. We don't sell, rent or share your data for marketing. We don't track you on other sites.
Your data, your call
On your Account page you can download a copy of your account details and saved progress, and delete the account. Deleting removes the account, its saved progress and any unused reset links, immediately and for good.
Contact messages are kept separately; to have them removed, or to ask anything else, write to us through the contact form. Your account and progress are kept until you delete them.
Changes
When the way the app handles data changes, this page and the date at the top change with it.
